The first days of school are always so full of excitement and anticipation. In art class the students are filling in the the "bubble" letter names with a variety of lines. They are learning about vertical, horizontal, diagonal, curvy, wavy, loopy, zigzag and spiral lines. They are also learning about insinuated lines such as the dotted and broken line.After completing their names they began creating their "Favorite Things" Collage. I showed them my example seen below for inspiration and let the loose to produce their own creations.
