This week in art the students will be creating a mixed media, non-objective piece using math knowledge and skills. They will need to understand points, rays, lines and angles. They will also be using a variety of 2-D geometric shapes. They will also include lines that show angular pathways as well as curved pathways. With the older students we will review the vocabulary concerning circles, such as circumference, radius and diameter and include these in their drawing as well.
