This week the students will be creating "stained glass" windows using the Scratch-Lite paper and a wooden etching tool. The subject matter is butterflies with an emphasis on making the wings symmetrical. They will be given a prototype to go by for their etching; however, they are fee to use their imagination and creativity as well. I am letting them come up with there own backgrounds. They students loved this project and could not believe how beautiful their creations turned out. Below are some examples of student work.
