In an effort to support writing across the curriculum in art, the 4th and 5th graders will begin writing their narrative pieces based on historical fiction about the immigrants from Scotland that settled in the Appalachian mountains. They will be using the following outline to help them compose this paper. The due date is the week of Nov. 18th - 21st. They are to turn in a typed copy of their work on the day they have art that week. They also need to turn in their notebooks that contain all their pre-writing and rough drafts.
