Jan. 7th - 11th
This week we will by learning to draw and identify the difference between 2 D shapes and 3D forms. We will be using them in a variety of ways to draw the world around us. The 3rd -5th graders will be drawing an assemblage sculpture made of various wooden forms. Each one will be different depending on their perspective around the table. K- 2 will use the forms and shapes to draw a variety of things from semi trucks and houses to a Medieval castle. In addition to this the 3rd -5th graders will learn to distinguish between the following types of sculptures: additive, subtractive and assemblages. Below are pictures of each types of sculptures as well as their renderings of the forms.
