Underwater Watercolor Ecosystem Painting
This week the students will learn about ecosystems, specifically, an under water sea ecosystem with all of it's sea creatures and plant life. Since the 4th and 5th grade Kid's Club Kids are working on presenting the musical "Little Mermaid" later on in March. I thought this would be a great chance to cover some science content as well as watercolor techniques. The students will be using both wet on wet and wet on dry water color techniques as well as sponging. Below are some of the wonderful pieces of art that students from K-5 have created here at Highland this week.
