Students will
use the elements and principles of art to create a New York City landscape to include iconic
symbols such as the Statue of Liberty, Brooklyn Bridge, Chrysler Building, The Big Apple, Hot dog stands,
Taxis, Subway, Broadway, Times Square, One way Streets etc.
The
students will locate New York and New York city on a Map and be able to tell where
it is located verbally. The students will learn about city life, dwellings,
transportation, entertainment, Broadway etc.
